Protesters from San Diego's Trans community demonstrate outside of The Rail on August 28, 2021. The protesters are standing directly in front of The Rail's entrance on the corner of 5th Ave. and Robinson Ave. in San Diego's Hillcrest neighborhood. The Rail is a light grey building with a marquis sign at the front and has multiple rainbow flags hanging from the roof. The protesters carry large Trans pride flags and hot pink signs that read: "RESPECT FOR ALL TRANS WOMEN".

The protest of The Rail was organized after staff at The Rail allegedly refused entry to two Trans women, claiming that the public event being hosted on June 28th, 2021 was "for gay men only."
